(capsule) NYC – Menswear
To be perfectly honest, I’m at a slight loss for words, since I’m still excited about what’s going on in my life. I will write a more complete post when things are solid, but I can say that this past Monday I had the pleasure of attending (read: walking around and drooling at) the (capsule) Menswear trade show in Chelsea. There were only about half a billion brands represented, so while I tried to take pictures of my favorites, this doesn’t even begin to cover the amount of people and the sheer energy coursing through the place. Though I have a day job and couldn’t be there at the height of buyer presence, I still did get to catch the last few hours of the show, and there are a lot of great things to look forward to this fall:
[brand index, Shwood sunglasses, colored jeans spectrum, sweet Yuketen coat, Bass floral & perforated oxfords, Fischer, and my favorite vest of the day]
I’m excited that lot of the designers present did a fantastic job of incorporating more vivid colors into their lines, it’s going to be a delicious fall! As you can see, Bass had their women’s shoes out, too! I am an oxford lover, and those perforated ones are a well-executed derivative (read: I WANT). Overall, an exhausting and fascinating day, I can’t wait until the next one!

Wow, that's kinda cool to be having the chance to attend a fashion event. Thanks for the info and sneak peek. I've never heard of the brand before, but it's always great to learn new things
Fall clothes already? Ahhh!
I'm glad some color was injected into the men's clothes. Just a few accents here and there add the right balance of neutral and vivid touches. I'm liking those wooden glasses!
Hi Miss ED!
I always appreciate you stopping by my blog.
Finally more color. I love those vests and the preforated oxfords with the ribbon ties are so gorgeous.
Thanks for the pictures I really enjoyed this post.
Happy you got to go to this cool event.
