Toto, we’re not in Macy*s anymore: Zoora Trunk Show!

3

Over a month ago, I attended a trunk show hosted by Zoora, a fantastic fashion start-up. I first heard about the show through Holly, (who I met at IFBcon) and was immediately interested in what Zoora has to offer. We all struggle to find pieces that simultaneously stand out and fit just as we’d like them to, and with the fast pace of fashion, it’s hard to keep up with the ever-evolving trends without being lost in the mayhem.

Zoora brings fresh new designers to the forefront, allowing members to browse through and choose unique pieces for any occasion. The best part is: you can have the pieces tailored to fit! It’s as simple as choosing what you like, and telling them your measurements! When I spoke with Aubrie (pictured on the left), she said something that truly resonated with me as a woman and a style blogger, because we have all heard and felt this before:

“It’s not enough anymore to just be on trend anymore…”

Look around you, and you will notice that everyone has their own little touches to an outfit that hint to their personal style. Even though this unique solution to the question “How will I stand out today?” is still in its fledgling stages, I think there is potential for a powerful market impact that could be beneficial for small designers and fashionistas alike.

What do you think about this unique service model, are you going to sign up and explore your options?

(I wrote this post of my own volition and am in no way being compensated to publish the above information, I just thought it was a cool thing to share.)

Wow this is awesome because I never want to try and look like somebody else. Is the tailoring to fit extra cost? What are the price ranges of the garments? This sounds really cool.

Hi Ladies, Holly wrote up a great post on her blog and you can always go to the Zoora site and poke about for a bit. As far as I can tell, the price are in the $100+ range but I know they’re working on finding ways to bring this down a bit.
